Day 1 Glasgow

Your journey begins with a warm welcome from your Tour Manager. We then make our way to Glasgow for a panoramic introduction to the city, taking in its striking blend of historic and modern architecture, including the magnificent Glasgow Cathedral. 

This afternoon, step back in time with a delightful afternoon tea experience in a beautifully preserved tearoom designed by the legendary Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Opened in 1903, this iconic setting offers a perfect blend of heritage, design, and indulgence.

This evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at your hotel—an ideal opportunity to relax and get acquainted with your fellow travellers.

Today, journey to the historic Stirling Castle, once the childhood home of Mary Queen of Scots. Perched dramatically above the surrounding landscape, the castle offers a fascinating glimpse into Scotland’s royal lineage, with time to explore its grand halls and captivating exhibitions.

Following your visit, enjoy a short walk to a unique weaving experience. Here, you will learn the intricate art of tartan weaving, gaining insight into its cultural significance and design process. Try your hand at the loom and create a personal keepsake to take home.

Day 3 Inverness

Depart Glasgow and travel along the breathtaking shores of Loch Lomond, renowned for its serene beauty. Continue into the Highlands to visit the innovative Dundreggan Rewilding Centre.

Here, discover a pioneering rewilding project led by Trees for Life, where native woodland is being restored and Gaelic heritage preserved. Learn how language, culture, and landscape are deeply interconnected in this unique initiative.

Your journey continues along the legendary Loch Ness before arriving in Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, where you will spend the next two nights.

This morning, travel north to the picturesque village of Dornoch, where you can enjoy a relaxed stroll through its charming streets.

Upon returning to Inverness, enjoy a specially arranged lunch followed by a private talk celebrating the stories of Highland heroines. Afterwards, indulge in an exclusive VIP shopping experience, showcasing contemporary tartans inspired by both modern design and 17th-century traditions.

Day 5 Dundee

Fans of Outlander will delight in today’s visit to the Highland Folk Museum, a key filming location featured in the series.

As Britain’s first open-air museum, the site brings Highland history to life with its collection of historic buildings, crofts, and exhibits spanning from the 1700s to the 1950s.

Later, continue your journey to Dundee for your evening stay.
